Responses will reflect time and thought and newly learning/validated practice. One-sentence responses or bulleted responses do not reflect a thoughtful response and will not be accepted for credit.
All responses will support creativity and critical thinking.
Discussion posts with responses such as “I agree” or one-sentence responses do not reflect a thoughtful response and will not be accepted for credit.
As with many learning management systems, the time you spend on these courses is tabulated and reflected at the end of the program - we use this information coupled with your meaningful responses and completed projects to ascertain whether or not an assignment needs to be adjusted in order to receive a certificate.
All deadlines will be met in order to receive a certificate for an NCCAT Online course.
While this is a self-paced course, there are mandatory due dates for assignments - this will aid in our grading/feedback. If a participant enrolls in the course and does not participate within 14 days, an email will be sent stating they will be removed from the course within the next three days.
Certificates of Completion are a PDF with the NCCAT logo and an electronic signature that will be emailed near the end of the quarter. This allows time for final grading and verification of the completed coursework.
